Outdoor Retreats

The Mountains Are Calling Encounter God in Creation Find Fellowship Remove Distractions

How did St. John Paul II rejuvenate amid an intensely lived life? Through physical activity, prayer, and fellowship, in the backdrop of God’s beautiful creation, all four seasons of the year. Join us in doing the same!

"I raise my eyes toward the mountains. From whence shall come my help? My help comes from the Lord, the maker of heaven and earth." (Ps 121:1-2)

Our outdoor retreats are designed for young adults who desire to encounter God in His creation. Each unique location provides a unique experience, from hiking in the Rockies to kayaking in the Shenandoah Valley, from retreat centers to rustic tent camping.

All our retreats share an emphasis on prayer with daily Mass and Adoration, reflection and formation, but also outdoor activities on different skill levels, good food, and fun fellowship, all in the JP2 Project style! We collaborate with diocesan priests, different religious communities, faithful laypeople, and our alumni to make these retreats a reality.
