Discover JP2 Project’s Youth Jubilee Mission

Verso L’Alto

Join our week-long prayer and evangelization mission with the intercessions of St. John Paul II and Bl. Pier Giorgio Frassati. We’re sharing the legacy of these saints in this 2025 Youth Jubilee!

We’re the John Paul II Project , and we are hosting a weeklong event for the Jubilee of Youth.

From meditations on hope, to Eucharistic Adoration, street evangelization and homeless ministry, this is a must-visit site for the Jubilee of Youth.

We hope you can join us!

In all the craziness of life, do you have clarity on who you are and what you’re made for?

God loves you and has a plan for you. Without an interior life, it’s easy to become confused, anxious, or stuck in indecision.

We live in a culture of chaos and confusion where young people are searching for peace.

Do you really understand the powerful impact prayer can have on your life?

We’re offering space and time for young people to come to Jesus and find their true identity in Him!

“You young people who are listening to me, young people who, more than anything else, want to know what you must do to gain eternal life, always say yes to God and he will fill you with his happiness.”

— St. John Paul II

“Pier Giorgio testifies that holiness is possible for everyone, and that only the revolution of charity can enkindle the hope of a better future in the hearts of people.”

Pope St. John Paul II, Beatification Mass of Pier Giorgio Frassati, 1990.

“I urge you with all the strength of my soul to approach the Eucharist Table as often as possible. Feed on this Bread of the Angels from which you will draw the strength to fight inner struggles.” - Bl. Pier Giorgio Frassati

Support the Cause

Each alumni missionary is working to fundraise for their cost, but we need even more help to make this event free for thousands of pilgrims.

“My experience with the JP2 Project was truly life-changing!.. I deepened my relationship with God and the Saints in ways and to an extent I never could have imagined beforehand.”

About the Host

The JP2 Project

The John Paul II Project helps young people become builders of a civilization of love & truth through immersive formation programs in the US and abroad.

We’ve discovered a call to contribute to the Church’s large event efforts to evangelize the youth of the world. World Youth Day 2023 in Lisbon was our first rodeo, and this Youth Jubilee is our next mission. The goal is to help young travelers have a transformative experience of the Lord that lasts beyond the fun pilgrimage high.

A team of JP2 Project alumni work with our small staff to organize, fundraise and execute every aspect of this mission, from deciding on content to designing materials to standing in the heat to invite people off the streets. Learn more about the JP2 Project

Centro San Lorenzo & The Shalom Community

We were overjoyed when we received permission to host our activities at the Centro San Lorenzo, right next to St. Peter’s Basilica and home of the original World Youth Day Cross. John Paul II entrusted this cross to young people in the first WYD gathering of 1984 in St. Peter’s Square, giving them “the mission to carry it throughout the world as a sign of Christ’s love for humanity.”

The spirit of WYD lives on here at the Centro all year long: fraternal hospitality, mission and the joy of the Gospel, and deep roots in the faith. It’s under the care of the missionaries from the Shalom Community, who have been incredibly welcoming, supportive and authentic witnesses of the faith. Thank you Centro San Lorenzo & Shalom Missionaries!

Servant Sisters of the Home of the Mother

The Servant Sisters of the Home of the Mother are helping us tremendously to make this mission possible. They’ve opened up the church under their care right in Rome’s historic center, providing a second location for our missionary efforts. Thanks to them, we’re able to hold night adoration downtown and engage in some raw street evangelization in the midst of Rome’s night life, inviting people to encounter Our Lord in the Eucharist!

The Sisters are also pivotal guest speakers at the Centro San Lorenzo location, providing formative talks, inspiring points of meditation, and an opportunity for fellowship with their community during one of our coffee houses in the youth room.

The Home of the Mother is recently known for the legacy of Sr. Clare Crockett, whose cause for beatification is underway. Because of our founder’s personal friendship with Sr. Clare and the impact the Home of the Mother has had on her life, there is a scholarship named after Sr. Clare to help students with a missionary zeal participate in the signature JP2 Project International Fellowship.

Learn more about the Home of the Mother and Sr. Clare’s story.

The Association of Pier Giorgio Frassati

Our heartfelt thanks to Wanda Gawronska, niece of Pier Giorgio Frassati and long-time friend of the JP2 Project, the “Shady Priests”, and all our friends in Pier Giorgio Frassati based in Rome. We are so honored and grateful that you have asked us to help make it possible for pilgrims to venerate the body of Bl. Pier Giorgio Frassati. Thank you for entrusting to us this mission of guarding the saint’s body and assisting pilgrims in this beautiful opportunity for grace.
