Curtis Allen
( Operations Support Lead )Biography
Curtis comes with a passion for the Project’s mission and activities that germinated in his college years. While studying at Franciscan University of Steubenville, he experienced first hand the opportunity for tremendous growth through studying abroad. It was during a trip to Poland that Curtis developed a deep devotion to John Paul II after traveling to the main sites associated with his life. Curtis got drawn into the Project when his wife, Mary Kathryn, accepted the role as Director of Outreach.
Before joining the team, he worked as a Major Gift Officer at Concordia University. Prior to that role, he spent years working with young adults in athletics, serving both as an Assistant Athletic Director and Tennis Coach at Ave Maria University. As our Operations Support Lead, Curtis makes the Project run smoothly by supporting all internal functions of the Project and executing many of the critical behind-the-scenes processes that are central to our operations. In his spare time, you’ll find Curtis cherishing moments with wife and his baby girl, Joan, playing sports, or doing a puzzle. Their family currently resides in the Chicagoland area, where they frequently pray at a major hub of Polish devotion, Marytown: National Shrine of St. Maximilian Kolbe.
